J : Okay, let’s start the tour! Do you know much about American history?
S : I studied American history in school, but I hope to learn more here in Philadelphia.
J : Well. you’ve come to the right place. Do you know any famous American historical figures?
S : Yes, I really like American historical figures like George Washington, Helen Keller and of course I studied about Benjamin Franklin’s life in school.
J : Well, Benjamin Franklin’s home was right over there. Philadelphia’s World Heritage site is right over here. Let’s go!
J : Here’s Independence Hall where the US was born. By the way, the US became independent from which country, do you know?
S : US used to be a colony and the US became independent fro the UK.
J : The UK! In this room, two famous documents were created. The Declaration of Independence and one more, what is it?
S : Hmm, how do you say “憲法”? Oh, the Constitution.
J : The Constitution! And something red, white, and blue was created too. What is it?
S : The first American car? No, the flag for the US.
J : The American flag! And we have a souvenir of your trip to historical Philadelphia.We have either a little Liberty Bell or a US flag. Which would you like?
S : The Liberty Bell. I’ll put it on my backpack as I go across the US. Thanks!
