フレンズでディク♪パート12の解答編です。

日記を読んでくださった方、コメントをくださった方ありがとうございます！

今回は、four of themが聞き取れなくて、次から聞き取れるような気がしてそれが収穫です＾＾

*の印の台詞は、スクリプトに載ってなかったので、ItかThisかのどちらかだと思います。

Uhh, do you know what that silver knob on the toilet does? Sure! It flushes it. Okay, good. （2：Now that since you know, when you come over would you mind actually using it?）
Done? Yep! Hey! Hey! What’s up? This switch thing has been driving me crazy. So I turned it off and checked every outlet. Now, four of them don’t work. Which means, one of them has to be controlled by the switch. So, I plugged in things in all four of the outlets that-that make noise, so that way, when I turn it on I just follow the noise and find out which one it is. I bet I stopped listening before you did. （3：Y’know, you also could’ve used uh, lamps and then followed the light. ）Yeah, well, I’m using noise. Okay. All right! So, is everybody ready? Here we go. I hear something! I hear something! Where is it? It’s coming from Joey! Oh my God, that’s so freaky! Turn him off!!

What are these? Electrical plans for the building. Okay, okay, okay should I be scared? I know that switch does something, okay? So-so I went down to city hall and got these. All I had to do was pay $25 and wait in line for three hours. Wow! If only more people knew.

What-what are-what are these? Oh, just some pictures I made and hung up. I thought they’d brighten up the place. They do don’t you think? No-no-no, no! I know that there’s no hole there, I just really liked that picture. Oh my God! Look at this! Okay, but there is a wire back there! I mean that switch is connected to something! I don’t care! The wires have come loose in your head! I just thought that if I could follow the wire I could find out what it did. And did you?!No. It disappears back there behind that baseboard. For a minute there, I thought it went downstairs. But it didn’t. Say hello to Mrs. Chatracus. Oh my God. Hello darling. Hello, Mrs. Chatracus.
All right. The super couldn’t figure out what it did. A $200 an hour electrician couldn’t figure out what it did. I’ve had seven pretty serious shocks. I officially give up. Thank God. I guess Joey was right, it does nothing. See? I’m doing it. I am totally doing it. I lost it.

ちょっと思ったんですけど、日本語のワイヤーは電線のことではなくて鉄線のことだと思っていたら、電線という意味もあるんですね。

Didn’t it drive you crazy to have a switchまでは分かります。そのand以下はnot knowで始まってますが、何か省略されているのでしょうか？knowの主語はyou？

ed、書き忘れじゃないです。^^;　けど、今聞き直したら、ほんとだ、edあったんですね。わー惜しいなぁ！uhは、わかんなかったから、適当に入れてみただけ^^;;

drive you crazyとAll I had to do、hadaさんのご指摘どおりだったんですね。hadaさんすごい(^^)/

ワイヤーって、そうか、私も鉄線のイメージありましたけど、ワイヤレスヘッドフォンとか、ワイヤレスマウスとか？電線（？）のことですもんね。

わーそうそう、こういうのが、「え？え？何なに？？？」となってわからなくなる文です！
単純に考えると（？）"have" and "not know"なのかなぁ？？と思うのですが、
そんなことってヘンなのかしらん。文法全然わかりません。詳しい方お願いします～。

そうですよね！marukoさんがあってると思います！

Didn't it drive you crazy to have a switch? と Didn't it drive you crazy to not know what it did? が結ばれた文ですね＾＾下線の二つのto以下の句がandによって結ばれていると。

to have a switch　「スイッチがあること」

(to) not know what it did　「そのスイッチが何をするか分からないこと」

直訳すると、「スイッチがあるに、そのスイッチが何をするのか分からないことがあなたを変に（おかしく）させなかったのですか？」

不定詞の否定では、Didn't it drive you crazy not to know what it did?と、toの前にnotを付けるのが原則だけど、to notとしても間違いではないのでは？

ふふふ、すごいでしょ～！って実はほとんどが偶然の賜物ですが。(^^；

最初に出ていた driviving me crazy とは、なんだか音が違うな～って思っていました。
crazy の後からの部分、know を knowing に間違えただけというのが素晴らしい！
自分には and not know what it did? は何度聞いても、なんわっ it did にしか聞こえません。

さすが marukoさん。自分は特定もされてない lamps に勝手に the をつけちゃってました。

do ははっきりと聞こえます。その前は gotta か gonna かわかりません。

でもあやまる必要なんてまったくないですよ！

コーパスで all [p*] [have] to do [be] で検索してみると、 All you have to do is ～がダントツの一番でした。ゆかりんさんが考えていたように特に頻繁に使われるフレーズみたいですね。あなたがしなくちゃいけないのは…って感じで未来っぽいのでbe 動詞は is なのかな。

検索に使った [p*] は代名詞全般、[have] と [be] は has や had など原形にして同じになるもの。

If only ～というのは定番表現。これも仮定法とよく使われるものだったんですね。

「頭のネジが緩む」と同じような定番表現だと思ったけど、そうでもないようで。

たしかにワイヤーといえば、自動車の牽引に使うような太い金属の線を思い受かべてしまいますw でも maruko さんのワイヤレスヘッドフォンやワイヤレスマウスでなるほどです！

こういう接続詞や that などがあると、どこがどこまで関係している範囲(いい表現がおもいつきません)なのかわからないことがよくあるんですよね～今回は maruko さんの解説でスッキリです。感謝^^

うんうん、私もまた仮定法が！と思いました。また一度も仮定法を聞き取れてないので、いい目標ができました＾＾やっぱりかなり頻繁に出るみたいですね。

私もdoってはっきり聞こえる。スクリプトもたまには間違えるってことで、間違い探しもいいですよね＾＾それで耳も鍛えられるし＾＾

そうなんだ、このフレーズは高校の時に習ったフレーズで、先生がよく覚えておきなさいって言われたのを覚えています。でも、All I have to do isもあるってことを学んだので、すごく勉強になりました。ありがとう、hadaさん！

あ、そこまで考えてなかったです。ちょっと分からないです＾＾；

周りの人や友達が、暑さで体調をよく崩しています。私も暑さで調子が悪くなる場合多いので、hadaさん、marukoさんも気を付けてください。寝てる時に水分不足で体壊すこともあるようです。私も気を付けます！体お大事に！

二次試験の成績表が合格証明書と一緒にきました！眺めがら実感しています！嬉しいです＾＾

ナレーション：　11/15

Q&A：　15/20

アティチュード：　2/3

合計：　28/38

全体的にどれも７割以上とれているので十分です！
ナレーションが思ったより評価されてるのでびっくりしました。
