I want to emphasize, you put some very good English together here. In the first sentence, there's nothing to correct in terms of grammar or vocabulary. In this second sentence, the only problem is the use of the word "one". We can use "one" to refer to "room" when it means 部屋. When it means "space", we need to use "some" or "any".
