Waste of time （時間を無駄にする）

One of my relatives is almost 80 years old.
（私の親戚で80歳近い方がいます）

She is interested in the culture of the Ainu, an indigenous people in northeastern part of Japan, including Hokkaido.

Two years ago, she was planning to visit some Ainu museums in Hokkaido with her daughter, but the tour was cancelled due to the pandemic.

She was disappointed.
