いつも参加ありがとうございます。残念！（３）が違いました。紛らわしい選択肢でした。a series of ～　で「一連の～」という意味の熟語だったのです。
辞書無しで解かれたのですからしかたがないと思います。

私も旦那も、いろいろ大変ながらもなんとか元気で頑張っております！
お気遣いありがとうございます

今回のイディオムは、アメリカでの普段の生活やテレビなどでも普通に良く耳にしたり、自分自身も使う表現だったので、間違ってたら驚きだなと思いつつ、全部あってたので安心しました。
