瞬間英作文の時間に

今朝、サンドイッチの残りをここに入れておいたんだ
I left the rest of my sandwich in here this morning.

という、例文が出てきて、
here（副詞）に in（前置詞）がつくのか、
副詞＋副詞と解釈するのがいいのか、、、
in（前置詞）＋ here（名詞的に使う）？
いろいろ考えたり、検索してみました。

検索してもなかなか引っかかってこなくて、日本語のサイトにはうまく説明されているものがなかったので、google.comのほうで検索したら、1個だけそれらしいQ&Aが出てきました

I learned it s not included at, in or on before here. Therefore it makes me confused when native speakers use in before here.

It's true that we don't say "at here" or "on here". But we do sometimes say "in here", when we want to emphasise that something is inside a place. Often "here" is enough, but sometimes we feel we want to make our meaning clearer.

-Where are you?
-I'm here!
-Where exactly?
-In here; I'm in the living room.

Do not say 'in here' when you are talking about a town or country, or an institution such as a university. Just say here.

Use in here when referring to what is inside a building, room, cupboard etc.

「ここ！」だけでは分かりにくい、もしくは場所を明確にしたい、強調したいときには、前置詞を加えてよりわかりやすくするってことだと思います。

感覚的にも、in here のほうが「この中に」って感じがしてわかりやすい気がします＾＾
