高一の娘との会話２　run over

いつものことだが、娘は文章を読まないで問題を解いていく。辞書を引くのは最後の手段だ。
（それでいつもアホな間違いばかりしている。当たり前だ。いつもどうやって答えを出しているのだろうか）
　
iKnoをやっていたら、英語の宿題をやっている娘に突然聞かれた。
「ねえ、run over　ってなんだっけ。なんかそんなの、さっきやってなかった？」

私　「え？run over?あれ・・・調べる？違うな・・・
　　　go over ・・・　確か・・・検討するだったかな
　　　look overがたしかざっとめをとおすだよね・・・
　　　run over・・・え・・・?」

娘　　「あ、ごめんごめん。the car ran over the boyだって。車が男の子の上を走っちゃったんだ。」

私　　「それ、すごく怖い文だね。車に轢かれたってこと？」

娘　　「そうじゃない？ほら、私も中学の時あったじゃない。学校に行く時、車が私の足の甲の上を走ってさ、靴にタイヤの跡がついちゃった　　　　の。」

やはり実体験で覚えると忘れないよね。

それから、ちゃんと文章を読んでから質問してね。
似たような熟語で混乱している私の頭をconfuseさせないで！　お願い！

This is good for me.

Now there are many online dictionaries and

some are intruduced in my profile.

Looks like you have some problems with your daughter.

She may have her very special way to answer questions.

I'll try to find a good dictionary for me.

Reading your comment, my daughter said,

"Yes! He's right. I read the whole sentence in my own way."

Her words and actions are very unique and always make surprised me and laugh.

English is common subject between her and I.

I study English hard and want to be an expert like you.

Someday please give me your good advice and comment.
