I have an experience similar to yours a little bit. I had to buy a lot of things for my children just before their new grades. I paid the goods and left the chashier once. But after walking for one minute, I had to return to the same cashier. That's why both the cashier and I didn't find the unpaid umbrella hanging on my arm. I was about to get out of the store without paying the umbrella.

Sorry for not being an advice. あーすsan, we, middle-aged women have many many things we have to think of from today's meal to study of English, I think.

ヨーカドー is a very big chain of supermarket. Do you know the name of Seven-Eleven? ヨーカドー and Seven-Eleven are in the same group.

このWitness は我々いわゆるnon-native English speaker (でも native Japanese speakerです)には思いつかない、使えない英語です。

Haha, I've done something like this before, too. I was about to leave the house and couldn't find my wallet. I looked for about five minutes before realizing I had already put it in my back pocket.

You are much better than I am! I go shopping with a slip memorized items to buy, and often forget to buy some of them while reading it some times.
My slip is no use for my aged brain. Sigh.....

I have corrected my writing regarding 完全否定. I am very poor at 否定、比較級、倒置、仮定法etc…too many gramatical things….(＠_＠;)

I'm very poor at all of grammar in English! When I think of the grammer perfectly, I can write nothing in English, so I always say to myself, "It's OK. Never mind."
