I wen to a drinking party with friends from my English class last night.　

My teacher likes drinking with friends. He doesn't drink alone at home. Me too!

12 people attended the party.　

The members' range from 25 to 68 years of age.

There are a pianist, guitarist, farmer, pilot, bank clerk, floweriest, house wives, hair stylist, bookshop owner, school teacher, etc.

It's held at a izakaya restauranｔ near my house and I walked there. Lucky! 　I didn't need a taxi.

It was my first time there, so I asked a waitress.

"What do you recommend?"

After an awkward pause,　she said " Fried potato".

I was a little～ disappointed at her answer because I thought I could get most delicious food as soon as possible. But I said "I'll have it."

My teacher said "Wow, This restaurant specialty is French fries... interesting. In Canada, nobody recommend French fries!"

My teacher　pulled a smart phone out of his pocket and took some pictures of it.

We ate it and found that it was a very very normal French fry.

It was funny!

Maybe it was just her favorite, not the restaurants' specialty.

I thought she was cute.

After that, we started to talk about food from different countries. It was fun!
