今日のフレーズは　Katieさんが次のように説明しています

This is used to explain that someone’s arrival is expected NOW! “Any minute” means that this is the time period when, he, she, they or it are arriving.

any minute の any　は　「なんでも」というニュアンス。だから　any mitute は、”いつでも”　っていう感じでしょうか。
日本語でも、「もう、いつ来てもおかしくない頃なんだけど・・」とか言いますよね。

He finished his work at 6 o'clock, so he'll be here any minute.
Maybe he's stopping by for a drink or two on his way home.
I just want him to call and notify whether he will eat dinner at home.

仕事が6時に終わってるんだからもう来るはず。
途中で一杯ひっかけてるのかも。
晩御飯を家で食べるかどうか電話ぐらいしてほしいもんだわ。
