I woke up at 7 AM and prepared for school this morning as usual. I tried to put in my contact lens, then I was surprised when I noticed that I didn’t put my contact lens into the solution. I could see the dried contact lens in the lens case. I didn’t see any liquid anywhere… Oh my God!!! I couldn’t wear such a dried lens of course. It was a monthly contact lens but I only used it for half a month. Hopelessly, I opened new ones. I didn’t remember about last night well after I went back to my room, except I was so tired… I think I was so exhausted that I forgot about my daily routine. I’m out of luck this morning.

I feel very cold when I wake up in the morning these days. Because my room has a western exposure, I feel hot every afternoon. It’s still hot even when I go to bed at night. On the other hand, it’s very cold in morning. Furthermore, I haven’t seen the sun, it’s cloudy at morning in these days. (It’s too hot in daytime even though.) I’m still not accustomed to the weather in LA. Because I dislike winter, I wanted to come to hotter area. However, I didn’t know and be surprised at the change of temperature between day and night in LA. It’s of course unusual in Japan, so my body doesn’t adapt to the immediate change.

I walk to school every day. It’s around 5-10 minutes to walk, and I don’t mind walking. Actually, I have a bike, but it’s my friend’s. He lent it to me for a while, but it was too big for me to ride. I was barely able to ride it, but almost fell down while riding, so I don’t want to ride it so much.
