I am slight anemic. So I regularly see a doctor at a clinic near my house.

わたしはちょっとした貧血です。なので、定期的に近所の医院に行ってます。

Today,when I came to the clinic there was not a nurse who was the doctor's wife.The doctor heard me about my condition and said I should take the blood test after 6 month interval.

今日、わたしが医院に行くと、看護婦さんーその人は医師の奥さんなんですがーはいませんでした。医師は私の状態を聞いてから6カ月ぶりに血液検査をした方がいいねといいました。

I accept that,but I doubted that he could take my blood well.　Because I always have my blood draw by the nurse.

私は承知しましたが、ちゃんと血液とれるのかしらと思いました。なぜなら、いつもは看護婦さんがとってくれるからです。

When　ｈe clumsily began pricking my vain with a needle,I had the fear that he might fail.
Just after he had done well, his wife came back to the clinic,and said "What? Is he drawing blood? Is it OK?"
I talked to myself "Thanks heaven!"

彼は不器用な手つきで、私の血管に針を突き刺し始めたとき彼が失敗するんじゃないかとひやひやしました。
彼がうまくし終わった直後に　彼の奥さんが医院に帰ってきて言ったんです。「え～？採血してんの？大丈夫？」
わたしは「無事でよかった～」と独り言したのでした。
