I don't like both summer and winter.
I prefer more moderate seasons.
However, if I have to choose one, I would prefer winter.
Because I can wear many clothes to put up with the coldness of winter, and I can't take off clothes anymore to bear the hotness of summer once I got naked.

私は夏も冬も嫌いです。
もっと穏やかな季節の方が好きです。
ただ、どちらかを選ばないといけないのであれば、冬を選ぶかなと。
冬の寒さに耐えるためにたくさんの服を着ることはできますが、夏の暑さに耐えるために服を脱ぐのは、一旦裸になってしまうとできませんから。

日本語の考え方のままでついつい間違えてしまうやつですね。

Because I can wear many clothes to put up with the coldness of winter, and I can't take off clothes anymore to bear the hotness of summer once I got naked.
⇒Because I can wear many clothes to put up with the cold of winter but I can't take off clothes anymore to bear the heat of summer once I get naked.
あ、そうですね。heat 使えばいいですね。
cold と coldness のニュアンスの違いはよくわかりません。
