Recently, the plum blossoms have started blooming in Tokyo.
However, it's been snowing since yesterday.
I feel like it has been very cold lately.

I cooked stewed beef with radish yesterday.
I only added salt, Chinese star aniseed and Sichuan pepper.
After that, I cooked rice porridge for my lunch.

Lumin san recommended them as foods warm one up.

By the way, my ten-year-old daughter enjoyed the 1/2 Coming-of-Age Day ceremony in her school yesterday.

I had never heard of it.
Since when?

It's getting chilly again in Tokyo, how are your daughters doing?
We still need to warm up our bodies, in order not to catch a cold!

As for the 1/2 coming-of-age day, I've heard people talk about it just recently: we didn't have such a ceremony in our childhood, did we?

No, maiko-san, as far as I remember, though both of them graduated from elementary school in Tokyo, 10 and 7 years ago, respectively.
I asked my daughter, and she said "no", too.
