There are・・・《in the house》　というような　前置詞＋場所
がない形で、一般的に　・・・・がある、存在する　というような意味に使っていいんですかね？

ケイティのブログでの使い方を見ると　いいみたいだよね。

There seem to be a lot of haunted houses and haunted places all over the world!

という文も書いてあるから、
There are ghosts. という場合も　　"in this world "（この世には）が　言外にあるというような感じでしょうか。

Do you think there are power spots?
I don't know whether it is true or not, but I've heard about such a place.
Several years ago, my daughter and I went to Kuramayama
in Kyoto. They said there was one of power spots.
We saw the star-shape mark on a stone pavement in front of the temple and stood the center of the star to pray.
Thanks to it　・・(?), my daughter could have a job after that.
