I thought that meaning of shally would be what, and examined in my old dictinonary.

But, it didn't come out in it.

What is meaning of shally? It may be adjective of shall or shale, right?

Then, I examined shilly-shally with my dirty dictinonary.

Then, indecisive, wishy-washy, irresolute, infirm and weak-minded came out in it.

Since there are many words, I can't remorize. So, I want to decide on only one.

　The government shilly-shallied about the matter.
のように動詞で使うみたいです。
（shilly-shallies, shilly-shallying, shilly-shallied)

名詞としては、ためらい、とか優柔不断という意味だそうです。
