文前半が「この仕事で成功するには真の技術と熱心さが必要です」というような意味だと思うのでbutで繋ぐなら①かなぁとおもいつつcanを①の意味で使えるのかしら？それとも①でも②でもないのかしら？

辞書で見る限りflexはいい意味に使われるみたいで②っぽいですけど？？？
