ふとnearが気になった！

近くにスーパーがあるマンションがいいです。
この文私なら
I would like a condo with a grocery nearby.かなと思いました。
で、上の文のnearが気になったthatは関係代名詞なのでa condo is near a grocery store マンションはスーパーの近くです、で、このnearは前置詞で「〜の近くに」ということなんですね。
恥ずかしながらnearには前置詞があるなんて知らなかったので混乱してしまいました。こんなこと、いまさらですよね、失礼しましたｗ

S : Do you eat out often?
J : Yeah, I eat out about twice a week.

J : Actually I would like a condo that’s within walking distance to restaurants if possible. But I would like a condo that’s safe and somewhat quiet.

　品詞を勘違いしちゃうと、構文自体がわけわかんなくなっちゃいますよね。
　私もよくあります。

　特に今回は、that's ってbe動詞が略されてるし。

DAY 5
J : Let’s find the right condo for you. First what kind of location would you like?
S : Actually I would like a condo that’s within walking distance to restaurants if possible. But I would like a condo that’s safe and somewhat quiet.
J : This condo building is perfect. It’s within walking distance to a streetcar stop, shops, and restaurants, and the Mardi Gras parade. Do you eat out often?
S : Yeah, I eat out pretty often.
J : This location is great for you. This one is available. It’s on the first floor. Is a condo on the first floor okay with you?
S : Well, for security I would like a higher floor.
J : There’s another one on the second floor with a good view, but there is no elevator. Are you able to climb some stairs?
S : One flight of stairs... I think I can do that.
J : I see. Well, we can see the one on the first floor today. Would you like to see it?
S : Yes. I’m excited to see it, actually!
J : I’ll tell you what. I’ll make some calls and show you some other condo in that area. You’d like to rent a condo for one month, right?
S : That’s right. And by the way, one special request. I need plenty of sunshine.
