That's the standard outfit.
Most people wear dark color jackets.
Some people wear white ties.
You might wanna ask the host.

might wanna ＝　might want to ～ 　の言い方にひっかかりました。
直訳してしまって、どういう意味になるんだろう？と・・・。

might want to ～　「～するといいでしょう」「～した方がいいかもしれません」

この言い方いいですね！使えそうです。
you should ～　というよりやわらかく提案できますね。
ただし使い慣れないとすぐに出てこないですね＾＾；
