　放送の7分過ぎのところで、会話の後にも重ねて言っているのですが、thank(s)のsを言ってるように聞こえないのです。

　でも、blueidea さんもthanksと聞こえたようなので、気のせいかなぁ？

もう一度聞きなおしてみました。　なるほど～、お二人の言うとおりです。

ここの、I got it. は　あの鞄を取りに行くのをお手伝いましょうか？というジェニーさんの申し出

対して、「僕がとります」って意味ですね。　

最初このスキットをきいたとき、ジェニーさんの申し出に、対するスティーブさんの返答が

ないと思い、いきなり　りI got it, なので、あれ？とおかしいな、と思ったんです。

しかし、そうとう大きなかばんだったみたいですね、ジェニーさんが

手伝おうと思うぐらい。　スティーブも　重そうに　I got it. っと言ってますね。

そういえば、野球でも、野手がフライボールをキャッチするとき、ぶつからないように、　I got it!

I got it! ! っていうんですよね、 これからキャッチするんだから　I'll get it. と言いそうなんです

が、違うんですね。おもしろいな～。

これは、後ろの　so much　のs とつながって一つになっているからだと思います。

子音と子音が、くっついているんですね。


気になって辞書を調べてみました。

Thank you の　thank　は動詞です。～に感謝する。　後ろに～に、を表す言葉が必要。

Ｔｈａｎｋｓのthankは名詞で、複数形にすることで、「感謝」という意味になります。

つねに複数形で使われるみたいです。

私もこの部分は「Thank you」か「Thanks」かどちらだろうと思って、聞き直したんですが、
「Thanks.」　に聞こえました。
コビットさんが調べてくださったように、「Thank.」とは言わないなあと思ったのもあります。

会話文の、I got it.ですが、

テキストでは、「取れました」となっています。

I got it.調べたら、「分かった」という時も使えるし、

getは元々「手に入れる」という意味があるので、receive（受ける）、
buy（買う）など色んな使い方が出来るようです。

customs ですが、テキストではCustoms と大文字で始まっています。

辞書では the customs, the Customs　が税関なのですが、

customs だと関税の意味もあるで、区別するために

Customs と大文字なのかな？とも思うのですが、

実は、そこのところ、自分で書きながらとっても気持ち悪かったところなんです。

It's right outside of customs.　冠詞のない、customs. ってなんか変だな～って。


誰もツッコミがないから、それでOKなんだろうなって思ってました（笑）


Departureや、Arrivals も　大文字で始まっていますね。

建物の中の場所をさす場合は、大文字にするのかもしれませんね。
