　後者はどっちでもいいですが、前者の方は、なーんか"in"って言ってるような気がします。

実はa long timeの前にforかinが入りそうだなと思って何回も聞いたのですが結局聞こえなかったので
wait (for) a long time長いこと待つみたいな使い方の時にはforがなくてもOKなのでもしかしたら言ってない？とか、かなり悩んだんだけど結局よくわかりませんw
聞き直しても私のお耳には残念ながら聞こえなかったけどin a long timeが正解な気がします。ありがとう♪

They'reもwereかどっちかわからなかったので「ホント、パンケーキは美味しいよね」と一般的なことを言ってるのかなと思ったんだけど
聞き直したらwereっぽい気がしました「とっても美味しかったよ」と今朝食べたパンケーキの感想を述べてるのかも？
