PERT6はPART5がストーリー仕立てになったもの、そしてよく見ると、実はそれほど、設問に関係ない文章は長く加えられてはいません^^

前置詞のin との組み合わせなので、名詞ということで1)detail か2) details になります
無冠詞単複の違いは簡易ですが、ポイントは以下です^^
■無冠詞単数: 不可算名詞（抽象名詞、物質名詞、集合名詞の場合が多い）
■無冠詞複数: 可算名詞（普通名詞の場合が多い）
意味の違いは単語のそれぞれにあるのですが、detail の場合は
detail: 全ての部分が行き届いた、というニュアンス
details: 一つ一つが細かい、というニュアンス
この両者、意味を『（説明や対応等）詳しく（わかるように）』、とするイディオムのニュアンスに当るのは『行き届いた』のほうになります^^
PART6、見た目以上に結構深いものがあります^^
