★Grammar and Vocabulary
It (must) (have) slipped my mind.
「そのことが抜け落ちてしまっていたに違いない」⇒「うっかりしてました。」
助動詞(must/may)＋ (have)は、現在までに起こった出来事に関して、「～したに違いない（かもしれない）」などと述べる形。
比較
He may lose the match. （彼は試合でまけるかもしれない。）
He may have lost the match. （彼は試合で負けたかもしれない。）
