確かに make sure もよく出てきますよね～。

Forumでいくつか見つけました。

-- The end result is the same. "Make sure" implies the person should take some definite action in order to be certain that something is ok, and "be sure" just says to be certain it is so.
- Make sure the door is locked. = Go over there and check it.
- Be sure the door is locked. = You don't have to check it again if you are really certain it is locked.

あと、これは何かの調査の結果なんでしょうけど、おもしろいなと思ったのがありました。こちら（http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/121428/make-su...）のページに載せられていた図なんですけど、

何かというと、make sure to get,　make sure you get,　be sure to get,　be sure you get が、過去１００年において、本の中で使われた確率をグラフ化したものです。

これを見ると、
今も昔もコンスタントに使われているのが be sure to get
ここ４０年くらいで使用率が上がってるのが make sure you get
そして、be sure you get と make sure to get はどちらも使用頻度が低いままですね。

なんだかおもしろい。ていうか、googleにそんな機能あったの初めて知りました。

なので、私もやってみました！
今回の表現 be sure to call me と make sure to call me　の過去１００年です。

これで見ると、 be sure to call me が圧倒的に多いですね。
こういう調べ方も知ってると、これからいろいろ使えそうです♪

その時は単語だけでやってたので、フレーズまるごとできるとは知りませんでした。

後で私が考えたのは
Make sure は「確かめろ」
Be sure は「必ずしろ」
じゃないかと・・・

だから、make sure to ＜＜　be sure to
(忘れずしなさいよ、っていう未来のことだから）

これは命令文の場合ですよね。

普通に文の中で使われる場合は・・・
