今日はTell me about a fun event that you've been to.

Tamaraさんは
I have been to a summer festival in Japan. It was very special for me
because I could wear yukata. And I could dance with local people.
It was good fun.

Remyさんは
I went to a music festival in October last year. It was in the middle of nowhere,
in the forest, surrounded by nature. I stayed there for four days, camping with
my friends. It was amazing.

in the middle of nowhereという言い方、面白いですね。
何もない場所という意味でした。

Pabloさんは
I recently participated in an international conference at the University of Havana,
Cuba, on the issues of peace and human rights, where students are very interested
in those topics.

最近、キューバのハバナ大学で、平和と人権の問題をテーマにした国際会議に参加しました。学生たちがこれらのテーマにとても関心を持っていることを強く感じました。

キューバのことは余り良く知りませんが、こんなテーマで国際会議がハバナ大学であったのですね。キューバは確か社会主義の国なので。
