⇒ No. I've been to Hawaii a few times. I've never been to the mainland, though.

⇒ Yes. So I'm a little nervous. Do you have any advice for me?
Is life in the US different from life in Japan?
⇒ Yes, in some ways. Aside from the food, the people here seem more relaxed.

do a homestay という言い方をするのね。知らなかった。
Is this your first time in the US?
⇒ No. When I was a kid, I visited Guam with my family. Guam is part of the US, right?

私もコレ、苦手です。
そもそも、付け足してなにか言うというのが、日本語でもとっさに考えつかないというのが問題です。
