★ 「下方」を表すunder
The couple is standing under the umbrella in the rain.
この写真(*)では恋人たちが雨の中、相合傘で立っている様子が見られます。これはThe couple is standing under the umbrella in the rain. と表現されます。under the umbrella は「傘の真下」ということで、in the rain は「雨の中」です。あたかも雨に包まれるような感じが in the rain の感覚です。いずれも基本的な使い方です。応用例としてI’m under a lot of pressure. といえば「大変な圧力の下にある→すごくストレスを受けている」ということですが、under のイメージは同じです

Mt Shirakami is very famous as there is the natural forest of ぶな.The site is on the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List.
But the Hotel we stayed was built just last year,and very simple and realistic mood, ahaha

もしくは、山にぴったりとくっついたふもとって感じかな・・・
正しくは
I stayed at the hotel at the foot of Mt Shirakami. です。
なので under の例文になってなかったね とほほ・・・

日本では、わたしたちは皆憲法のもとに暮らしている。
