今日は2014/４月号を読みました。
hedgehog（ハリネズミ）の話でしたが、なかなか面白かったです。
イギリス英語っていうことも尚更だったのかも知れません。
調べた単語を書いておきます。長くなってすみません。

quirky(a.)
quirk(n.):
1. an aspect of somebody's personality or behaviour that is a little strange; peculiarity
2. a strange thing that happens, especially by accident

hedgehog
a small brown European animal with stiff parts like needles (called spines) covering its back.Hedgehogs are nocturnal (= active mostly at night) and can roll into a ball to defend themselves when they are attacked.

1. a short period of a particular activity or strong emotion that often starts suddenly

ascribe(v.)
