9/12 対話カラオケ★Advanced★

9月のテーマはSchool Life!! です。
DAY 11は、「Chat About School Days」がテーマで対話カラオケADVANCEDでした。

~でてきた台詞をいくつかピックアップ~ ドラッグして色を反転させると模範解答が出ます。

★ 英語で言うと?

私は踊ることに昔も今もコンプレックスがあります。
 I had ad HAVE a complex about dancing.

日本では(その)スポーツがうまくできなくてもチームに入れますよ。
 In Japan, even if you're not good at that sport, you can join the team.

チームに入るのにもテストのようなものがあるんですね。
 There's like a test for getting on the team.

なんか、速くなると聞き流してしまうので、書いてみます。(間違ってるかもしれません^^;おかしなところに気付いたらよかったら教えて下さい。)

S: Were you good at any sports in particular?
J: Well, I was pretty good at basketball, and I loved dodgeball.
S: In the U.S., we have a subject called P.E. P.E. means physical education, so we did sports or exercise.
J: Oh, I see. We have that subject in Japan, too.
S: How do you say that subject in Japanese?
J: "Taiiku." "Tai" measn physical or body and "iku" means develop, I think.
S: Oh, taiiku. So did you like that subject?
J: Yeah, I liked it a lot.
S: Do you remember the kids who are good at sports?
J: Yeah, some kids in my class were so good. Some were fast, some were good at baseball.
S: I really remember that because I looked up those kids.
J: Those kids are usually popular.
S: I've never had a complex about studying, but I had a complex about sports.
J: I had and have a complex about dancing. We had to dance during one lesson.
S: In the U.S., you can't belong the sport team at school unless you're really good at that sport.
J: Really? In Japan, even if you're not good at that sport, you can join that team.
S: At almost all schools they have tryouts. It's like a audition for sports teams.
J: Wow, so they are like a test for getting on the team.
S: By the way, did you get in trouble often?
J: Well, when I was in fourth grade, I got in trouble all the time, but usually I was a good kid.
S: Well, anyway, my favorite time in school was lunch time.
J: Me too.
S: Tell me about school lunch in Japan.
J: In elementary and junior high school, we all had the same lunch. prepared by the school. But in high school, my parent made my lunch and I brought it to school.
S: Did you like your school lunches?
J: I like some school lunches, in high school we brought our own lunches and I like that better.
S: (In) elementary school I brought my lunch. It was usually a sandwitch, a snack, and some fruit.
J: Actually I wanted to have a sandwitch for my lunch too, but It was always rice.
S: Do you know about lunch boxes in America?
J: I think so. They're metal or plastic. And they have characters from cartoons or movies, right? I really wanted one actually.
S: Did you have a special lunch box or container for your lunch?
J: Yeah, it's called a "Bento-bako." It's flat and has four or five compartments. A different food goes in each compartment.
