Touch

The boy is touching the horse on the head.

touch のコアは「軽く触れる」というものです。この写真では少年が馬の頭を触っており、The boy is touching the horse on the head. と表現されています。馬を触り（touch the horse)、触っている場所が頭である(on the head)という英語独特の表現方法ですね。Don't touch a risky business. は「危ない仕事には手を出すな」といった感じです。I don't touch liquor. といえば「酒は飲みません」ということ。I was deeply touched by his story. は「私は彼の話に深く感動した」ということで、日本語の「琴線(きんせん)に触れる」に近い感覚です。
