adorableという形容詞は、「ほれぼれするよな」とかいう意味がありますね~。
前に、「かわいらしい」をどういうかっていうのを聞いた時に、
adorableもよく使うよって教えてもらいました。

adorable (形)は、自分ちのワンズのことを言う時によく使う犬バカなわたくしですが、
adore (動)はそういう意味で使ったことありませんでした。

そうかもしれませんね。
メタンだけではなく、同じ炭化水素類の
ethane:エタン(C2H6)も
そのように使ってますね。
なぜかブタン(C4H10)は
butaneでした。

mint(鋳造)とされていましたが、英英辞典の定義によると、
連鋳後のプレス圧穿になりそうですね。
一般的な鋳造はcastingのほうになりそうです。
